Now, please make the next big move that U of O athletics needs and replace Ernie Kent. His recruiting is phenomenal, but unfortunately that's where it ends. His players do not respond to his coaching style and he is not good at developing players quickly enough. His constant yelling and screaming would have any player on edge, let alone how annoying it is to watch. The times when he has won, you could easily say that it was the talent level that brought victories, in spite of lackluster coaching. No more chances, please replace Coach Kent before we fall further! There is no way that man still deserves his job. We're about to have the nicest basketball arena in the country and we can't beat Montana??? Seriously?? I think the success of out football team (on the field and in recruiting recently), given our athletic facilities, only further supports the fact that it is time for Ernie to go. He's a great guy and a good coach, and yes we've made it to the elite eight twice in this decade, but "good" is simply not going to cut it any more at Oregon. We need someone who is an excellent coach or that $220 million dollar arena is going to be aweful quiet and scarily empty. Someone need to tell Phil to start dangling a several million dollar "carrot" in front of Mark Few's face
