Ohio State “I Told You So” Thread

I have a serious physical gag reflex to this picture.
I didn’t give you guys a chance. I thought you were an afterthought, just another slow Big Ten team that wouldn’t be able to handle Oregon’s speed.
Boy was I wrong.
All I can say for now is congratulations, you guys deserved it and I am looking forward to hearing it from you nutty Buckeye fans.
Well done.
I will write more shortly, but for now I am too crushed to put together a set of cohesive paragraphs.
Go ahead and gloat, I am waiting for it.

See, this is the thing. Yeah, There are douches who root for my Buckeyes, and I am sure there some who do for your Ducks. And while we, much like any other fan base in the country, would talk smack leading up to a big game, and would be willing to talk smack after a big win, there is one big thing to remember. After the Rose Bowl, we have no reason to hate UO. I have told you, I like the Ducks, and I hope they do well. I love your QB, I love the uni’s, and would love to see a game there in Eugene, b/c I am sure that is one awesome experience. I got my little bit of smack in last night, and now, I am just so happy we won the Rose Bowl. Sure, there are some ass-hats out there who will embarrass our fan base, just like every other one, but there is no hate between our two teams. Hold your head up high my friend, you guys had one hell of a season, and you need to be excited about next season. With your QB and RB coming back, you guys will be good. There is one thing I will always ask, BEAT SC! That is a team that I hate.

We had our chances to win the game. If we hadn’t of turned the ball over at the end of the first half , we could of scored a TD. And we scored another on our first drive of the second so it could of been 24-13 Ducks. But our TO’s are what killed us because we were getting into our rhythm in the 3rd until Blount fumbled. After that , we couldn’t get anything going. I don’t care that Pryor had a big game ,, Masoli is a better QB because he isn’t terrible like Pryor is when he has a off game. The Bose State game helped motivate us and look where it took this team. If we use this game as motivation , imagine where it will take us in 2010. This is a hard loss to take but let’s look at the bright side of it. Ohio State played better then we did for 60 minutes they won the game by playing their game. But we return 18 starters next year and Ohio State returns a lot too so maybe we might have a rematch in an even bigger game in 2011…….
